No longer used for Sunday services, the building is owned by Stockbridge Parish Church in Saxe Coburg Street as a centre for community activities. The fine acoustics of this expansive building have made it a popular venue for choral concerts and music recitals.
During Fringe 2012, Northern Stage will be performing a number of productions at St Stephen's Cenre.
In Fringe 2010, the Traverse showed two plays here.
