The main venue for the three-day, volunteer driven festival of traditional Scots fiddle music is the Queen's Hall, with the rest of the Festival spilling across (and slightly down) the road to the Community Church's Kingβs Hall.
The festival features concerts, recitals, two ceilidhs, workshops, talks, sessions, open stages, stramashes, and a festival club from 11pm to 1am at the Queen's Hall for those that can't get enough fiddle. Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin' also organises a full programme at the festival for 9 to 18 year olds.
A cafe and bar is run throughout the weekend.
