The Edinburgh Food Festival is a free festival that in 2017 attracted a reported 25,000 visitors.
Located at Assembly Festival's space in George Square Garden, it provides people with an opportunity to try fresh, local food and drink from Scottish producers, distillers and breweries.
Around the trees there will be kiosks, stalls and trucks offering street food.
Aside from noshing and imbibing, look out for Edinburgh’s Miód Raw Honey Co. with its glass beehive to offer people the chance to learn more about bees and honey.
A series of talks and demos will take place in the gardens’ Piccolo Tent.
Entry to the festival and talks is free and unticketed.
