Between the Lines, Portraits of Authors - Photography Exhibition
This is a chance to see the world's largest 'live' and arguably most unique photographic exhibition.
Photographer Chris Close returns to The Edinburgh International Book Festival for his tenth year to produce a series of remarkable portraits of authors. Taken in Charlotte Square Gardens the venue for the Book Festival, Chris works from an outdoor studio which serves as his base for over two weeks during which time he will shoot approximately 100-150 authors. Each day new work is hung in the gardens in an ever growing series of portraits that have come to symbolise the Edinburgh Book festival and help make it such a unique venue.
The exhibition is completely free and new work will be added day by day.
