Description

As evening descends on the second last Saturday of November, the seven-week Edinburgh’s Christmas festival officially begins with an Opening Concert. The family-friendly concert, with many young performers, replaces the Light Night event of previous years.

The Christmas Market in East Princes Street Garden opened the previous night (Friday).

The Ross Theatre (aka Band stand) in West Princes Street Gardens is the location for this concert and for a further three weekends of festive, community events including Diwali on the following day (Sunday).
