Get ready for a flight of fancy. If you hadn't guessed from the title, Pegabovine is very, very silly. It's about a Coat of Arms with six sleeves - a potted history of the Winterbloom family using a six-sleeved coat as a theatrical device to skip though history (it's a time travelling coat of
course).

The three young players launch themselves into this piece with gusto, changing (minimal) costumes, characters and eras in a slip sliding tale of British aristocracy slip sliding away. They’re a talented trio who have obviously worked closely together in the past, however vocal projection is a possible thing to work on in the future.

At 2pm, it is one of the earlier comedy shows at The Pleasance, and it set me up for the afternoon with a smile on my face. Whilst it appears the shambolic scripting was born from improv and messing about, there are still some very funny absurd moments. Totally charming and charmingly
casual…
