In this well constructed show, Delete the Banjax create a surreal and very enjoyable hour of sketch comedy. With good quality acting and easy transitions between each sketch, the four comedians achieve a consistently entertaining series of scenes.
Their confidence and obviously very well rehearsed material might make one feel that the young team are much more experienced than their age would suggest. The acting occasionally verges on the “hammy” side, but this rarely gets in the way of what is some very funny material.
Including character sketches, parodies on television shows, single joke sketches and musical sections, there should be something in this show for most people. The personalities of the individual members shine through in their performances and they are all interesting enough to hold the audience’s attention in any combination.
Though some jokes could have been followed up on, and opportunities for extra laughs were missed, this is a very funny and intelligent sketch comedy show and had the audience laughing consistently.
