After sell out shows in 2015, Familie Flöz return with another epic performance.

With performers from around the globe this company really is in another league. Teatro Delusio has no words, because Teatro Delusio needs no words. A completely non-verbal play with a stirring accompanying soundtrack, this mask theatre is the best you will ever see.

Three actors take on 25 characters, each with their own mask and costume and physicality to differentiate, in an incredible feat of artistry and storytelling. The story takes place in a theatre where three renegade technicians scrabble around backstage of the opera and the ballet. Tensions run high, accidents happen and relationships blossom, all with superb flair.

Although based in Berlin, Familie Flöz boasts members from all over the world and has toured 32 countries with its universally understandable performances, proving that sometimes a script is superfluous.

What you get instead is pure, flawless physical comedy executed to a tee. The superb physical craft will have you in awe without realising – the performance is far too enjoyable and absorbing, but the awe will hit you as you leave.

Familie Flöz are a masterclass in precision, slick and clean and absolutely world class. Teatro Delusio is evocative and absolutely hilarious. Not many shows can make you bell laugh one moment and the next, cry over a sock puppet.

A must see at this year’s fringe, it is impossible to praise this company enough.
