While crowds gather to see in the New Year down at Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party, the Queen's Hall will be celebrating with a traditional ceilidh with champagne, whisky, food, music and dancing.
After a champagne and a wee dram on arrival, the Willie Fraser Ceilidh Band will lead a traditional ceilidh. Dances will be βcalledβ for beginners who don't know the steps.
Food includes a portion of haggis (of course), neeps and tatties (vegetarian option is also available).
The stroke of midnight will be piped in with dancing continuing thereafter.
