As the name of the gallery suggests the focus is on art photography.
Founded in 1977, the Stills was formerly located on the High Street. Its home now is in an elongated, two-roomed space on Cockburn Street.
Can be depended on to regularly produce innovative photographic exhibitions in its gallery space. With its full programme of workshops, talks, photography courses, not to mention online marketplace for photographic art, the Stills plays an important role as a hub for photography in Scotland.
