Located directly opposite the Scottish Parliament and adjoined to the Palace of Holyrood House, the King's Gallery is a purpose built art gallery which opened in 2002, originally as the Queen's Gallery, in the shell of the former Holyrood Free Church and Duchess of Gordon's School.
The gallery hosts changing exhibitions of art from the Royal Collection.
Exhibitions have included works by Carl Fabergé, the renowned Russian jeweller, and works of Leonardo da Vinci.
