The Cathedral referred to is St Mary's Catholic Cathedral at the top of Leith Walk and outside the St James Quarter.
It's a small, bustling area, with the new tramline to Newhaven passing by here and the nearby roads being a nexus for traffic going in multiple directions.
In 2022, Cathedral Square is one of the venues for a TikTok Fringe performers' stage, where the public can get free tasters of shows playing at the Festival Fringe. The shows are also being streamed live on the social media platform.
