For those who were sorry to see the closure of The Room in the Town, this new Italian-Scottish Ristorante has thankfully taken over the premises. In the central New Town and a few minutes stroll from Stockbridge, it’s ideal for local residents. Papavero means Poppy and the décor is inspired by summer: golden terracotta walls with landscapes of flowering fields under the Tuscan sun.
