Since opening in May 2010, Saughton Skatepark has become a destination for skateboarders, BMX-ers, skaters and other derring-doers on wheels.
After a long campaign for a purpose-built skatepark, the facility was designed by both riders and professional architects with a mix of street layout and bowl designs within the grounds of the publicly owned Saughton park.
