Science Festival: 12 Years to Save the Planet

A panel of experts will discuss ways in which the world might wean itself off fossil fuels in time to avert catastrophic climate change. Recommended age 14+.

From the Edinburgh Science Festival brochure: "In 2018, top environmental scientists issued a final call to save the world from catastrophic climate change.

They argue 'rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society' are necessary to prevent global temperatures from rising more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels."
