This 15th century house was home to James Mosman, goldsmith to Mary Queen of Scots, and was the final residence of John Knox, leader of the Scottish Reformation and founder of the Presbyterian Church.
It is located in The Netherbow, halfway down the Royal Mile, and is now incorporated into the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
See the original craftmanship of the building and exhibits of the lives and times of its famous occupants, which are also covered in the Storytelling Tour. Tours also start outside John Knox House during the Fringe.
