Edinburgh Named As One of Hottest Destinations for 2013

Edinburgh has been named one of the hottest destinations for 2013 by social travel site Gogobot, complementing “Scotland has been named as CNN’s top travel destination".

Scotland's capital has been named as one of hottest destinations for 2013. Moscow is number one in list of up and coming places by Gogobot. Edinburgh was named as third on the list of hottest destinations for 2013, in a top ten list revealed today.

The list showcases the best up and coming travel destinations for 2013.

Edinburgh is the only UK city to make it onto the list, taking third place, above US destinations such as San Antonio and New Orleans.

Other European destinations making it onto the list are Brussels and Athens coming in at 6 and 8 respectively.

Gogobot is a social trip planner with 2.5 million users which helps people discover, plan and share travel experiences via mobile and the web. This is great news for the capital and Scotland as we go into the Year of Natural Scotland.
