LM_Van Gogh Projection - Edinburgh

Work by Vincent van Gogh will be projected in coming nights on to famous facades in Edinburgh, including Leith Library as it gets set to reopen, Calton Hill’s Nelson Monument, and the Melville Mounument in St Andrew Square.

The projections mark the artist's birthday, yesterday (30 March), and will continue each night until the 3rd April.

The projections are created and produced by Grande Experiences, who are behind Van Gogh Alive.

The major touring exhibition is currently showing in a 15,000 square foot purpose-built facility at Festival Square.

Van Gogh Alive, which runs until 17 July 2022, combines floor to ceiling projections of the artist’s paintings with digital surround sound and aromas of Provence.

The exhibition has toured more than 75 cities.
