Fireworks explode above Edinburgh Castle. There are two main fireworks display each year above the castle, on Hogmanay the Hogmanay Fireworks display and at the end of the Edinburgh International Festival. The Edinburgh Military Tattoo also has smaller fireworks displays during its run in August.
