Just back from the Edinburgh Book Festival programme launch - details coming later - which had something of a Bond theme this year. Sean Connery is releasing his biography - written by celebrated film documentarian Murray Grigor. The press launch ended with a video of Connery and Grigor bickering on the golf course about why the publication date had been delayed. Turns out the delay - it would seem - was a pr ploy and the book will be ready for the fest launch. There was much amusement made of Sir Sean's distinctive pronunication... shplendid shtuff.
