‘Trail Running In The Extreme' A Free Seminar Series

‘Trail Running
In The Extreme'
A Free
Seminar Series On The GORE-TEX® Trans Alpine Run 2008

GORE RUNNING WEARTM, GORE-TEX® Footwear and specialist
running shop Run 4 It have joined together to offer Scottish runners the
opportunity to attend a fabulous evening that will fascinate and inspire -
whether you run for fun or are an elite athlete.

Matt Williamson will share his experience of taking
part in the GORE-TEX® Trans Alpine Run 2008 via a presentation, photography and
film footage.   Matt and his team running
partner Dougal Ross achieved 13th place in the men's category and over
8 consecutive days covered nearly 300 kilometres and more than 15,000 vertical
metres through German, Austrian and Italian Alps.

GORE RUNNING WEARTM and GORE-TEX® Footwear are
sponsoring the three seminar events and on each evening will be running
a
competition to win a complete ‘head to toe' running kit.  In addition
to each night's competition, Run
4 It is also giving away a free gift - a WINDSTOPPER® fabric scarf
worth £25 - with every purchase made in-store.  Light refreshments will
also be served by
store staff.

The three
free seminars take place on the following evenings, starting from
6.30pm;

  • Monday 10th November - Run 4 It, 21 Holburn Street, Aberdeen, AB10 6BS
  • Tuesday 11th November - Run 4 It, 108-110 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH3 9BE
  • Wednesday 12th November - Run 4 It, City Branch, 57 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 6TS

The evening is open to anyone with an interest in
running - regardless of level or ability and will allow 1-2-1 interaction with
not only Matt Williamson but also highly trained Run 4 It staff who will be
able to answer any questions or problems regarding top to toe running wear
requirements through to running programmes and even local running club
membership.
