Travelling
Gallery returns to
Edinburgh with its 30th Birthday Exhibition

Scotland's mobile art gallery celebrates its 30th birthday this
year with a new exhibition that explores our relationship with the sea and coastline.
The gallery will be arriving back in Edinburgh on 1st December, at the end of a 15 week long tour throughout Scotland,
during which over 8000 people have seen the exhibition.

Visitors in Edinburgh will be able to climb
aboard the bus to see ‘On Edge', the gallery's latest exhibition, which features exhibits
by a varied group of seven contemporary artists whose
artwork explores issues relating to the sea, and includes stunning
photographs by Thomas Joshua Cooper, and a distinctive sound based work by
Dalziel and Scullion, as well as sculpture, photography and video based works
by four other artists. Visitors have said about the exhibition:

" Exquisite work" (visitor from Birnam,
Perthshire)

" More fun than any gallery I have ever
seen" (pupil, Eyemouth Primary School)

" Quite thought provoking....enjoyed
everything" (visitor, Tobermory High School)

The gallery will be open to the public on Friday
5th December for a final chance to see the exhibition, and will
spend the rest of the week visiting schools. Admission to the gallery is free.
