Only 7 days after launch, The Merger Action Group's Merger Appeal will
start on Monday and should be completed by Tuesday. Over 500 people have signed
up to support the campaign; a mixture of small shareholders, employees, and
business people.
We have just three days to spread the word. The clock is ticking...
If you haven't done so already, please tell as many of your friends and

HBOS legal hearing due today
A hearing on the legality of the Lloyds TSB takeover of HBOS is to be heard
today. The Merger Action Group is challenging Lord Mandelson's decision to
waive competition considerations given the then threat to HBOS' stability.
Sir Sean Connery has now backed the bid, while The Times notes that small
investors will be crucial to a final poll of shareholders.
