  • Contemporary portraiture exhibition by photographers Ross Gillespie and Tricia Malley,collectivelyknown as broad daylight - Thursday 22 January - Saturday 14 February 2009.
  • Photographers' talk - Tuesday 27 January at 14.00. Places are free but must be booked in advance.

As part of
Homecoming 2009, this free exhibition will showcase unique and engaging
contemporary portraits of some of Scotland's best-known figures
alongside their favourite pieces of poetry and songs by Robert Burns,
whose work continues to inspire today.

People
featured in the exhibition will include musicians and writers, such as
Eddi Reader and Christopher Brookmyre, a clan chief and an Ayrshire
farmer, all photographed by Ross Gillespie and Tricia Malley collectively known as broad daylight.

After launching at the Parliament, the exhibition will tour to a number of venues across Scotland.
