Epic Gigs in Store from EDGE Festival

EPIC GIGS IN STORE AS EDGE FESTIVAL PREPARES FOR THE REAL THING

The Edge Festival has announced two huge additions to this year's exciting festival
programme, which takes place in Edinburgh during August. Legendary
experimental rockers Faith No More and Scotland's own Biffy Clyro are the latest headline acts to join the line-up.

The recently-reunited Faith No More take to the stage at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange on 25th August in
what is their first Scottish date for more than 10 years, and one which
is sure to be one of the most eagerly-awaited gigs of the year. The
band famously played a celebrated four-night sold-out residency at the
Barrowlands in the mid-nineties, and the clamour for tickets is likely
to be just as loud this time round.

Internationally-acclaimed alt-rockers Biffy Clyro have also joined the line-up, and will play the same venue on Friday 21st August,
in their biggest headlining show since their sell-out gig at the SECC
last December. Fresh from recording their much-anticipated fifth album
in L.A, the band will be offering fans a sneak preview from the album
before they embark on a UK tour later in the year.

The Juan MacLean and Frank Turner have also been added to the bill, and both play Cabaret Voltaire on August 17th and 28th respectively.

After
picking up last year from where T on the Fringe left off, this year's
Edge Festival marks the 10th anniversary of a dedicated popular music
programme at the Edinburgh Festival, and promises a storming month-long
series of gigs throughout August featuring the very best in established
favourites, leftfield acts and ones-to-watch in what is the festival's
most diverse line-up yet. Visit www.theedgefestival.com to sign-up for regular updates and to stay informed of all the latest announcements and ticket news.

Tickets for Biffy Clyro and Faith No More will go on sale at 9am and 10am respectively on Friday 19th June from www.gigsinscotland.com or by calling 08444 990 999.
