July 28th: House Sisters + support (£6)

A very welcome return from one of our favourite
girl bands - a fresh young trio playing traditional and contemporary
music from Scotland and beyond. Their thoughtful arrangements combine
lovely vocals with fiery fiddles and piano. They play tunes from the
Scottish Borders and the rest of Scotland, as well as music from
America and Scandinavia and their own compositions. A review of their
last visit to LFC can be found here:  http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/entertainment/Sisters39-unique-take-o…).
