SconePalace Prepares for an A-‘Maze’ing Easter

Scone Palace celebrates Easter in style this year, with a packed programme of events from 2nd – 5th April.

Big and small kids alike can pit their wits against the renowned Murray Star Maze, as they search for Easter Eggs hidden in the Maze’s labyrinth of passageways!

Once they've found the elusive exit, it's on to the next challenge - hunting for the Easter Chicks and Bunnies hidden in the Palace State Rooms! Prizes will be awarded to those who spot them all.

The bunny and chick hunt takes place from 9.30am - 5pm each day (4pm Saturday). The Palace and grounds open from 9.30am - 5.30pm daily.

On Easter Sunday, there’ll be a fun-packed craft workshop where kids will have the opportunity to brush up on their artistic skills by making Easter cards for mum, as well as painting cardboard eggs (and anything else they put their minds to) - all they need to bring is their imagination!Gabbi the Clown will demonstrate how to make some amazing balloon sculptures, and Scone’s fabulous face painters will be on hand to meet special requests – anything from Batman to Spiderman, and Harry Potter to football colours!

Easter Sunday activities will take place from 12 noon – 4pm.
Heather McArthur, Events Manager at Scone says, ‘Easter is a fabulous time at Scone, and this year we’re introducing a new ‘crafty’ element to make it a really eggcellent, fun-packed weekend for all the family.’

Visitors will also be able to enjoy afternoon tea in the coffee shop and browse around the Palace’s Food and Gift shops.

Entry: £9 adults, £6 children, £7.90 concessions, £26 Family (includes admission to Palace and Grounds).
