Scottish Boyband Auditions - Sunday 27th June, dancebase studios, edinburgh...10.30am

Fame and fortune are up for grabs in Scotland when the starmakers behind some of the world’s biggest boy bands roll into Edinburgh.
They made stars of such acts as the Backstreet Boys, 911 and Blue – and now this team of some of the world’s top music moguls are searching for Scotland’s next big boy band.
Together with Swedish songwriting and production team Meriola, Glasgow-based SGM Artists are looking for rising stars. The lucky winners will have strong vocals and impressive dancing skills to take up the boy band challenge.
Stockholm-based Meriola has also worked with artists such as NSYNC, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson and have sold more than 200 million albums world-wide.
A spokesman for It All Starts Here, said: “The team is very experienced. They have worked with hit bands such as Blue, Backstreet Boys, NSync, 911 and Five and we are looking for guys aged 16-23 who come from a street / hip hop background to form a visually exciting band that does not involve sitting on stools!”
“They also created Scotland’s first boy band 911 who went on to sell 4 million albums worldwide and have decided that the time is right to launch a new boy band for a new generation of pop fans.
“If you think you could be the fifth member of JLS and can dance like Diversity, then we want you to audition, as you could be part of our exciting new band.”
Anyone who thinks they can impress the It All Starts Here team will get their turn in the spotlight when they roll into Edinburgh. Please check the website for details!
