Fresher The Musical 13th @ Riccarton

Fresher The Musical
has beaten all expectations having slammed onto the scene at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year.
Recently the show was named BEST NEW MUSICAL at the Musical Theatre Matters/Whats On Stage awards. Straight after performing in his legendary show, ‘Pick of the Fringe’, the company was presented with the trophy by Mervyn Stutter, the host of the awards, at the Pleasance Courtyard.
A brand new pop-funk musical, the show has received a galaxy of stars with fantastic reviews. With the Festival Fringe now over, the show’s close-to-life humour has been greatly received amongst UK students. As a result—Fresher The Musical is beginning a tour of Students’ Unions. It will next be seen at Heriot-Watt Students’ Union—Edinburgh press who missed the Fringe run are most welcome.

Fresher charts the arrival of Baz, Ally, Tuc, Rupert and Haley—five fresh-faced teenagers who start a voyage of self discovery as they enter the world of university. The outstanding cast is joined by Natasha Barnes of the original London Cast of Spring Awakening.
