The Danish Cultural Institute (Est. 1947) promotes cultural contacts and cooperation between Denmark and Great Britain.
The Institute was located in Edinburgh from 1957 to 2015. The in-house gallery in a great Georgian house hosted many performance events.
The organisation closed its doors at Doune Terrace in July 2015, saying that with the rise of modern communications there was a reduced need for a physical premises.
