A friendly, and snug local, nestled in the basement of a Georgian Townhouse right on a quiet, cobbled street where Stockbridge meets the New Town.
Aka Vinnie's, the bar is directly opposite St Stephen's Church with its great steeple, just off St Stephen Street, and at the end of an often photographed mews.
The bar is more spacious than it looks from the outside. It carries a rotating selection of quality cask conditioned real ales, craft beers and wines. There's also a seasonal cocktail menu of classics and original drinks, and an ever-changing “Hair Of The Dog” special.
