One for theatre-lovers this one. The annual ceremony for the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland returns to the Edinburgh Festival Theatre for a third time. CATS celebrates the actors, directors, playwrights and other theatre artists who are deemed to have made the most thrilling contributions of the year 2009–2010.

Previous winners, including The Wonderful World of Dissocia (2005), Black Watch (2007), Blackbird (2007) and Peer Gynt (2008), have gone on to be staged across the world to critical and public acclaim.
