Candlelight Concert
The annual candlelit concert in St. Giles Cathedral forms part of the Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations.
St Giles’ Cathedral Choir is directed by Michael Harris, with the St Giles’ Camerata, leader Angus Ramsay, and a number of young soloists.
Last year (2011), the Candlelight concert programme included Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de Confessore, with its famous Laudate Dominum movement, and Handel’s Organ Concerto Op 4 No 2 in B flat.
Tickets are £16 with booking fee.
