'Doorways in Drumorty'

Following on from the huge success of their 2010 sell-out tour, RedRag Theatre, in association with Aberdeen Performing Arts, are proud to present Doorways in Drumorty, a play by Mike Gibb (Mother of All the Peoples, Five Pound & Twa Bairns, Lest We Forget) based on a book of short stories by Lorna Moon, the lass from Strichen who became the highest paid Hollywood screenwriter of her era. The play interweaves several of these stories with a cast of three performing in this fast-paced production as twelve very diverse characters. Doorways in Drumorty is both highly amusing and poignant and captures the mood of the rural North East in the 1920’s - an era when the chief currency was gossip!
