Edinburgh International Magic Festival

The inaugural Edinburgh International Magic Festival launched in 2010 with a distinctly comedy magic and Fringe-flavoured line-up.

This year the family-friendly Magic Festival brings over 30 performers from 8 different countries over the course of the 8-day festival. Shows are spread across seven venues.

One of the most popular events is the opening Magic and Variety Gala show at the Royal Lyceum during which the winner of the Great Lafayette Award will be announced.

This year sees the introduction of a matinee preview performance (at a reduced rate of £10) of the show.

This year also sees the introduction of children's magic workshops.
