Ambition, Power, Sex and Greed… Just another day at the office!

Edinburgh Music Theatre whisk you back to 1960s America, complete with executive washrooms, flannel-suited businessmen, and hip-swinging secretaries in a comedy fable of management dreams and unavoidable office dalliances.

Based on the book by Shepherd Mead, follow scurrilous and morally-questionable window washer J. Pierrepont Finch as he climbs the corporate ladder of the World Wide Wicket Company. Guided by the How to Succeed book, Finch lies, namedrops, cheats and manipulates his way from mailroom attendee to chairman of the board in a fast-paced, riotous romp with plenty of interludes of sublime daftness.

From the author of Guys and Dolls, Frank Loesser’s Pulitzer Prize winning parody features a toe-tapping score of hit standards and is one of the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time.
A glorious revival of this much loved music comedy, starring Daniel Radcliffe, celebrated a spell-binding 50th Anniversary Broadway production, directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford.

Let EMT bring a slice of Broadway to entertain and delight, with plenty of laughs and tap dancing guaranteed!

“The humor in Abe Burrows’ book sparkles with satiric jabs that still ring true 50 years later. Loesser’s score is a case study in how to write musical comedy.” Variety
