Edinburgh's latest live music venue Maggie's Chamber on 3 April 09.

Located just off the cobbled streets in heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, Maggie's Chamber is a brand new FREE music night that will showcase the best of established and emerging Scottish music talent every Friday night from 9pm.

Juxtaposing the popular Three Sisters Bar, Maggie's Chamber, could not be more different, offering an intimate and old-fashioned speak-easy style venue, with vaulted candlelit ceilings and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Able to accommodate both seasoned gig-goers and more casual music fans, the new state-of-the-art sound system utilises the strong acoustics from the original 17th Century curved ceiling. Set back from the stage, a well stocked bar surrounded by deep leather sofas, gives a comfortable vantage point for those looking to relax with Scotland's best new music still very much in earshot.

A little opulence is added to the whole experience, with a personal table service offering Maggie's champagne cocktails and a range of drinks promotions, right through to 1am. Areas of the bar can also be pre-reserved for groups of friends really wanting to create a true VIP feeling to their night.

Maggie's Chamber takes over the running of the loft space above The Three Sisters bar in The Cowgate every Friday from 3 April 09. The last Friday of every month will be a Maggie's Chamber electro-night.
