If you enjoyed the Great Edinburgh Run then this might be for you... the Great Winter Run is around Holyrood Park on Saturday 12th January. At 5km the Winter Run is half the length of the Great Edinburgh Run.
According to the web site over 1400 runners have already registered to take part. The race is for runners of all abilities aged 14 and over. There are other runs on the day including Junior Great Winter Run and the Great Edinburgh International X Countryfor for seriously fit athletes.
Entries for the Edinburgh Great Winter Run are open until Saturday 3rd January.
