A record crowd on Edinburgh's Hogmanay Torchlight Procession 2012, crosses North Bridge.
Due to trams works, the procession followed a different route this year starting at the Museum of Scotland and going down North Bridge, to Calton Hill instead of starting in Parliament Square and going down the Mound.
